Primary purpose of project was to minimize odors and corrosive effects within the well and are surrounding the Keansburg Pump Station. Project included, but not limited to, replacement of existing and non-functioning carbon-based odor control and HVAC systems for the pump station wet well area with a bio-trickling/carbon absorption filter for odor control and separate HVAC system, replacement of existing grating floor system with a sealed floor system compromised of solid panels, hatches & drainage valves, replacement of comminutor system, demolition within the facility and on site. Implementation of electrical and control work associated with the mechanical improvements, and misc. architectural and site improvements.
